Attracting epicureans to its chic dining room, the fall menu highlights autumn’s best ingredients such as pumpkin, mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and squash. Concurrently, the release of Chef and Owner Tal Ronnen’s highly anticipated cookbook Crossroads (Artisan Books) launches this fall featuring recipes for his ever popular and inventive plant-based cuisine.
Consisting of shareable dishes, Crossroads’ fall menu offers a variety of soups, salads, breads, pizzas, small hot plates, pasta, and comforting classics which can be paired alongside chef-inspired cocktails. Adhering to its Mediterranean influence, the menu consists of craveable dishes suitable for the cooler fall temperatures include the Fall Squash Puree Flatbread ($15) with caramelized onion, spicy toasted pumpkin seeds, almond ricotta, crispy Brussels sprout leaves, and mustard greens, or the Porcini Crusted Eggplant ($14) with caramelized eggplant, celery salad, and Rossini sauce. For dessert, diners can satisfy their sweet tooth with the Pumpkin Mousse Verrine ($8) spice cake with almond crunch and whipped cream ̶ all of which are dairy-free without the use of eggs, butter or cream.
Kick off the holiday feasting season with a Thanksgiving bounty that offers guests a health conscious yet satisfying way to partake in the traditional supper. Crossroads four-course Thanksgiving menu ($80++), is available from noon to 5pm on Thursday, November 26th and provides a plant-based twist on classic favorites, such as Squash Bisque and Sweet Potato Biscuits.
