A burgeoning destination for opulent hotels and over-the-top resorts, Australia is no stranger to glamorous living. And the island nation will further expand into the luxury market with the launch of Robb Report Australia, a print and online publication helmed by Sydney-based finance firm Kanebridge in association with the stateside Robb Report. Michael Stahl—an automotive and design expert who has previously written for Wheels magazine, The Australian Financial Review, and The Bulletin—will serve as editor in chief.
“The introduction of this dynamic new edition underscores Robb Report’s unique position as the only truly international authority on connoisseurship,” says Brett Anderson, the U.S. edition’s editor in chief and the company’s senior vice president of editorial. “Michael and his team lend their voices and local perspectives to the brand’s growing global profile.”
Robb Report Australia marks the launch of the 17th international imprint of the highly successful Robb Report franchise. The publication’s first issue, which will hit newsstands in October to coincide with Robb Report’s 40th anniversary, will have a starting circulation of 25,000. The luxury authority’s global takeover shows no signs of abating: a New Zealand edition is planned for next year, and the launch of an annual Mandarin edition will coincide with the 2017 Lunar New Year.
