Increase Attributed to Robust Demand from Robb Report’s Exclusive Ultra-Affluent Readership and a Growing List of Luxury Advertisers Targeting its Audience
NEW YORK (January 17, 2008) – CurtCo Media today announced that circulation for luxury lifestyle monthly Robb Report is increasing by 20 percent in 2008.
The increase results from demand by Robb Report’s coveted readership in combination with a growing number of advertisers looking to reach the world’s most affluent readers. This growth illustrates the unique position of Robb Report’s ultra high net worth audience amidst the general market’s concerns over today’s economic climate.
Specifically, the circulation for the second half of 2008 will reflect growth from 100,000 to 120,000. Continued increases are also projected for subsequent years, according to the company.
The increase accompanies long-term steady growth in the affluence markets worldwide, as illustrated in studies generated by two preeminent research firms. Chicago-based Spectrem Group reported a 138 percent gain among U.S. households with net assets of $5 million or more over the past five years. On a global scale, New York’s CapGemini’s 2007 World Wealth Report shows similarly robust growth among high net worth individuals.

That surging interest is attributable to worldwide recognition of the Robb Report brand, its high caliber audience as well as the establishment of editions in Russia and, most recently, China.
