A 10-Year Veteran of Magazine and Internet Publishing Takes a Newly Created Position at the Robb Report
MALIBU, CA– Bruce Wallin, a 10-year veteran of the magazine and Internet publishing industries, has been named Executive Managing Editor of Robb Report, the international luxury lifestyle authority.
In this newly created position, Mr. Wallin will oversee the magazine’s editorial production, and serve as liaison with the publication’s art, production and marketing departments. He will report to Brett Anderson, Senior Vice President and Editorial Director of CurtCo Robb Media.
A specialist in both print and new media, Mr. Wallin brings more than a decade’s worth of editorial, production and marketing communications experience to his new position. His career includes editorial management positions with Digital Home Entertainment, HEAT Volleyball Magazine, UCLA Magazine and Home Theater Buyer’s Guide and he was the co-founder and editor of Trip magazine, an international publication for adventurous young travelers. He has also served as freelance editor and writer for Los Angeles, Live!, Escape, and TV Online.
Most recently, Mr. Wallin was director of marketing communications at Korn/Ferry International, the world’s largest executive-recruiting firm, where he led the re-launch of the corporate Web site and managed the firm’s print communications and publications. Previously, Mr. Wallin served as a senior producer at Internet search firm AltaVista, managing all content development and production for the company’s e-commerce division.
Mr. Wallin holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Colorado College.
