The Inn and Spa at Loretto Launches a Lavish Travel Package

  • Judith Fein

Santa Fe’s Inn and Spa at Loretto recently unveiled its five-night You Only Live Once travel package. Custom created for each guest, the experience begins with a limo ride from Albuquerque’s international airport to the hotel, which is about an hour’s drive. Upon arriving at the hotel, guests will head to its rooftop penthouse (the only one in the city)—which features five balconies and offers 360-degree views—to enjoy Champagne and truffles. Then a docent will accompany guests to all four museums (in any desired order) on Museum Hill—Santa Fe’s renowned arts district—and provide special access to the museums’ archives. Guests can also tour the city’s famous art galleries with a personal curator. That evening, the executive chef at the hotel’s Luminaria restaurant will prepare a five-course chef’s-table dinner, which will be paired with selected wines.

Other activities throughout the six days can include a private cooking class from the local celebrity chef Johnny Vee; an outdoor adventure with the owners of Santa Fe Walkabouts, which offers guided hikes, bike rides, and ATV excursions; and a behind-the-scenes tour of the house and studio where the painter Georgia O’Keeffe lived and worked. Relaxation options during the trip include the 365 Minutes of Bliss treatment at the hotel’s spa.

The package is priced at $15,000 and must be booked at least 30 days in advanced. (www.innatloretto.com)
