Inspirato Launches Access

Jackie Caradonio

Since its debut in 2011, Inspirato has been leading the charge for next-generation destination clubs, offering exceptional homes in exciting locales with little up-front membership costs and no blackout dates. Now, the Denver-based company is furthering its member experience with the launch of a new venture that will guarantee access to some of the most sought-after events in the world.

Called Access, the new service highlights Inspirato’s focus on experiences—something Brent Handler, one of Inspirato’s cofounders, thinks is key to a memorable vacation. “Luxury is far less about tangible assets and much more about experience and state-of-mind,” Handler says. “The accommodation is really just the hub, and the spokes off of the accommodation are what really define what’s important.”

Access’s VIP events have thus far included a four-day package to attend the 2013 Masters Golf Tournament (including an invitation to the event’s exclusive party hosted by Jim Nantz) and a Sundance Film Festival package featuring access to celebrity parties and Q&A panels. Future offerings include a wellness weekend in Cabo San Lucas hosted by Keri Glassman and Mandy Ingber.

Of course, every event also means a stay at one of Inspirato’s luxurious residences (or, for locations where the club doesn’t have residences, a stay in curated five-star lodgings), as well as the services of a destination concierge who handles everything from grocery shopping and reservations to custom-tailored itineraries and transportation.
