Northern California will be a nexus for sports next weekend. Not only is San Francisco hosting Super Bowl 50, Pebble Beach (about a 2.5-hour drive south) is hosting the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament the next day. Post Ranch Inn’s Surf and Stay Package allows sports enthusiasts to attend both. After witnessing the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers dance in the gridiron’s greatest gala at Levi’s Stadium on February 7 (tickets not included), travelers can catch one of Surf Air’s semiprivate charter flights to Monterey. There, PGA Tour professionals like Jordan Spieth, Vijay Singh, Bubba Watson, and Phil Mickelson are paired with entertainment personalities such as Justin Timberlake, Mark Wahlberg, Wayne Gretzky, and Toby Keith—all vying to make it to the final round on the following Sunday.

The Surf and Stay getaway includes three-night accommodations at the inn in Big Sur, round-trip airfare for two from San Carlos (20 miles from the stadium) to Monterey, private transportation to and from the airport, use of a Lexus car while a guest, a pair of dinners for two at Sierra Mar restaurant, breakfast each morning, and a celebratory bottle of Champagne upon arrival. Package prices start at $9,111. (postranchinn.com; surfair.com)
