The term resort wear typically brings to mind women’s long, flowing dresses; loose wide-legged pants; and bold, colorful prints. That is, until now. Wanting to cater to the active males who frequent resorts like One&Only, surfing legend Laird Hamilton partnered with the international hospitality brand to create his own line of resort wear. The Laird Apparel sportswear collection ($30 to $120) includes tank tops, board shorts, workout shorts, and hybrid rash guards that can double as polo shirts—all meant to transition seamlessly from adventurous activities like paddleboarding or surfing to more mellow endeavors like afternoon drinks on the patio. Hamilton also created a performance graphic T-shirt, fittingly inspired by the ocean. The line debuted at One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico, last month and will appear at other One&Only Resorts later this year. (oneandonlyresorts.com; lairdapparel.com)
