This fall, guests at Montage Kapalua Bay in Maui, Hawaii—a Robb Report 2015 Best of the Best selection—will have the chance to play for a cure at the Play for P.I.N.K. Kapalua charity golf and tennis tournament from October 9 through 12. Orchestrated by the luxury travel boutique Elite Travel International, the event will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF); 20 percent of every hotel room booked through Elite’s website will be donated to BCRF, which works to prevent, treat, and cure breast cancer.

In addition to rounds of golf and tennis, guests can attend a cocktail party on Friday night, a culinary tour of Kapalua on Saturday, and a Hawaiian-themed dinner at Montage Kapalua Bay on Sunday. A number of celebrities are expected to attend the event, which Elite Travel International planned in conjunction with Play for P.I.N.K. (standing for prevention, immediate diagnosis, new technology, and knowledge), a grassroots foundation that raises funds for BCRF through sports tournaments across the United States. Since its inception in 1996, Play for P.I.N.K. has raised more than $38.5 million for BCRF. Ticket prices for the Kapalua event range from $250 to $1,500, depending on the number of activities in which guests choose to participate. (playforpink.org)
