Private Preview 2005: Floor Show

<< Back to Robb Report, October 2004

Check in to the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok after it opens in February 2005, and you may never leave the fifth floor. The space will be modeled after the Plateau spa floor that debuted earlier this year at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Like the Plateau, the fifth floor of the Bangkok property will be designed to provide a sense of tranquillity and refuge from the city’s chaotic streetscape. The space will include residential-style suites, a Thai restaurant, a swimming pool and plunge pool, gardens with a jogging trail, and an upscale spa. The menu of treatments is still under wraps, but it will likely include traditional Thai therapies.
