A Royal Vacation

The Dorchester Collection’s Coworth Park, a country house–style hotel and spa in Ascot, England, is offering a new package designed to give guests a taste of British royalty. Called “A Royal Life at Coworth Park” (from about $4,700), the package includes a riding or polo lesson, two nights’ stay, and afternoon tea. Off-site, guests will take a carriage ride through Windsor and visit the tavern where William Shakespeare wrote The Merry Wives of Windsor; they will also make stops at the River Thames, the Guildhall where Prince Charles wedded Camilla Parker Bowles, and more. Those who would like to devote more time to the game of kings (as polo has been named) can partake in lessons by the hour or in groups at the property’s esteemed Guards Polo Academy and enjoy a cocktail from the hotel’s new polo-inspired cocktail menu before retiring for the evening.
