The Best Hotels in New York for the America’s Cup Series [SLIDESHOW]

For the first time ever, the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series (essentially the regular season leading up to the America’s Cup) is coming to New York, where the first 13 America’s Cup races were held over a 50-year span. The two-day event will take place May 7 and 8 on the lower Hudson River off the Battery Park City Esplanade (between the Pier 25 basin to the north and the Battery to the south). Each of the following hotels ranks among the best in the city and can provide convenient access for spectating.
