Here at Robb Report, we love to travel. We live for around-the-world jets and island villas, infinity-edge pools and private beaches. But with the good also comes the bad—and the ugly. And since launching our magazine in 1976, we have seen more than a few cringe-worthy travel trends come and go. For every over-the-top presidential suite and five-star opening that we raved about, there’s been a flop that we’ve tossed straight into the waste bin. Here, we take a look back at the 10 most questionable luxury travel trends that still make us wince today.
