Singapore-based Amanresorts is opening Amanruya, a new seaside resort on Turkey’s Bodrum Peninsula, on August 1. Each of the resort’s 36 cottages (about $1,150 to $1,300 per night) has an outdoor terrace with living and dining space, a private swimming pool, an outdoor shower, and a fireplace. Among Amanruya’s main features are a three-story library, a wine lounge with an outdoor patio, an art gallery, two spa suites, four dining pavilions, a swimming pool, a tennis court, and a beach club with additional dining options. Amanruya also provides excursions to nearby ancient ruins at Didyma, Miletus, Priene, and Ephesus. (800.477.9180, www.amanresorts.com)
