Sneak Peek: Crans Ambassador

On December 15, Crans-Montana in the western Swiss Alps welcomed back a classic. Originally opened in 1972, the 60-room Crans Ambassador reemerges after an expansive two-year, multimillion-dollar renovation. Rechristened as the area’s first luxury sport resort, the new Crans Ambassador is a sanctuary for the active guest. As the only ski-in/ski-out property in town, the Ambassador offers unparalleled access to Crans-Montana’s more than 85 miles of alpine ski trails. The property’s guest rooms and suites each include private terraces with striking views of the valley below. Also new to the reopened resort is French restaurant STAY from Michelin-three-star chef Yannick Alléno. Accommodations range from $500 to $5,000 during the holiday season.
