Sneak Peek: Jumeirah Dhevanafushi, Maldives

On April 15, Dubai-based Jumeirah opens its first resort in the Malidves. Jumeirah Dhevanafushi comprises two distinct communities, one on the Gaafu Alifu Atoll with 22 island villas (priced from around $2,000 to $7,000 per night), three restaurants, a bar, and a spa with overwater treatment rooms. The more exclusive Ocean Pearls community was built completely overwater and offers 16 villas that have private pools, 24-hour butler service, and prices ranging from $4,500 to $6,200. Guest staying at either community can spend their days snorkeling, waterskiing, windsurfing, fishing, catamaran sailing, and chartering a private boat. (+971.4364.7171, www.jumeirah.com)
