Sneak Peek: Niyama, Maldives

Spread over two islands in the southwestern atoll of Dhaalu in the Malidives, Niyama resort officially opens on February 29. The resort has 87 studios and pavilions, starting at $650 per night, the latter featuring 24-hour butler service. Accommodations are either beachside or stilted above the Indian Ocean, and many feature their own private pool and outdoor bathroom. Guests have 24-hour access to the gym and spa, and activities include a weekly movie night, PADI dive courses, and a variety of water sports.
