Sneak Peek: Revel, Atlantic City

Revel hotel and casino opens on a stretch of 20 acres along America’s first boardwalk in Atlantic City, N.J., this month. The $2.4 billion, 47-story glass structure offers 130,000 square feet of gaming, including 2,439 slot machines set against flamboyant decor by Cirque du Soleil designers. All of its 1,898 rooms and suites (starting at $239) have Atlantic Ocean views. Aside from its vast casino, the resort has 10 swimming pools, a 32-room spa with a 3,000-square-foot coed bathhouse, a 5,500-seat theater for concerts and shows, a beach club, and a burlesque nightclub with nightly shows. Also, 14 dining venues offer a variety of cuisines, from a Belgian gastropub to Mediterranean fine dining. (855.348.0500, www.revelresorts.com)
