The historic Savoy hotel reopened in London on October 10 after being closed for a three-year renovation. The Fairmont-managed hotel added 38 new suites with sweeping views of the River Thames and nine Personality suites that pay tribute to some of the hotel’s celebrity guests, including Marlene Dietrich and Frank Sinatra.  Established in 1889, the hotel maintained the original Edwardian and Art Deco aesthetic and kept the spirit of its legendary River Restaurant and American Bar. Also returning is the Savoy Grill and the new Beaufort Bar, an Art Deco design built on the hotel’s original cabaret stage. (+100.800 0441.1414, www.fairmont.com)
