Sneak Peek: Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul

Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts opened its second European property on May 11: the Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul. The six-story hotel, set on the Bosporus, has 186 rooms and suites (from approximately $725 per night), including the grand Shangri-La Suite, which has three terraces overlooking Istanbul and its Asian shoreline. More than 1,000 works of art are on view throughout the guest rooms and the main floor. The hotel also has two restaurants, a three-story atrium, and a spa with a hammam, an indoor swimming pool, and a gym; it is also close to the Dolmabahçe Palace, the Naval Museum, and the Old City.
