On April 1, Anthology opened Wildman Wilderness Lodge in the Australian Mary River wetlands, located about halfway between Darwin and Kakadu. Inspired by the owner’s African travels, the lodge has 15 cabins and 15 safari tents, five of which are designed for four-person families (from $215 to $285 per person, per night), and a main lodge with a bar and restaurant. The lodge offers several different wildlife tours that include exploring ancient rock art and a rain forest, in addition to guided walks, a two-hour fishing safari, and tailor-made trips for fly-fishing, landscape and wildlife photography, bird watching, and more.
