Australia by Air, for Photo Fans

A new tour of Australia offers travelers the best of all possible ways to experience the continent’s dramatic scenery: by small, private aircraft with the added bonus of being accompanied by a master photographer who will offer advice and instruction along the way. Ewen Bell, an award-winning travel photographer who has led similar tours in China and Thailand, will lead this tour, his first in Australia, together with trip leader John Dyer of Air Adventure Australia. The two-week adventure launches from Melbourne in May and offers glimpses of working cattle stations, crocodiles, Uluru (Ayers Rock), waterfalls, and plenty of local flavor. The tour can accommodate only eight. A favorable exchange rate for Americans helps keep the price down to about $8,500 per person. (
