The Best of the Best 2003: Flight Services – Bombardier Flexjet

<< Back to Robb Report, Best of the Best

When it comes to the aircraft they will be using, Bombardier Flexjet owners enjoy the pick of the litter. Where other fractional ownership companies purchase their planes from separate manufacturers, Learjets and Challengers roll directly off Bombardier’s production lines and into the Flexjet fleet. If a Flexjet plane requires service, the same technicians who designed and assembled the aircraft will maintain the machine. Prices for a one-sixteenth share start at $260,000, plus management and flight fees.

The flagship of Flexjet’s stable is the Challenger 604, a nine-passenger with a range of over 4,500 miles. Next year, two new entries will arrive: the Learjet 40 and the Learjet 45XR.
