FrontRunners: Super Fly

<< Back to Robb Report, Luxury’s 25 Most Innovative Brands

With the recently unveiled Bombardier Challenger 350 (www.businessaircraft.bombardier.com), the Canadian aircraft manufacturer aims to stay ahead of the performance curve. Bombardier expects to begin delivering the $25.9 million twin-engine super-midsize jet next May. The 350 is powered by the latest Honeywell engines, which enable it to climb faster and fly farther than its predecessor, the Challenger 300. The 350 has a maximum cruise altitude of 45,000 feet and a range of nearly 3,700 miles. Compared to the 300, it also has longer wings (with new winglets), larger windows, and a redesigned interior. The fractional-share provider NetJets (www.netjets.com) will take delivery of the first examples of the 350.
