The charter company JetSuite is now offering flights in the western United States aboard its Cessna Citation CJ3 fleet, which previously served locations only east of the Mississippi and in Texas. The Wi-Fi-equipped jets seat seven and can fly at speeds up to 480 mph for up to 2,000 miles. JetSuite promises passengers transparent pricing, listing all routes online with taxi and wait time. For example, the CJ3 from Los Angeles to New York goes for $27,617, and from Santa Monica, Calif., to Seattle, the cost is listed at $18,800.
The company also posts last-minute daily flight deals on its website to fill up empty legs, with prices starting at $536 one-way for an entire jet. Customers must register to take advantage of the specials, and can set up a wish list and receive text-message or e-mail notifications of any available flights. JetSuite also operates a fleet of Embraer Phenom 100 jets. (jetsuite.com)
