The expansive cabin of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner private jet designed by Greenpoint Technologies (a completion center in Kirkland, Wash.) stretches about 184 feet from end to end and 18 feet across. The design team at Greenpoint has designed an award-winning luxury interior that makes the most of all that space. In this recently released video rendering, we step inside this beautifully designed aircraft interior, which Greenpoint calls Azure.
The Azure interior—which debuted at last year’s International Paris Air Show—draws inspiration from nature, with a focus on organic forms that reflect both land and sea, and a soft, relaxing color palette. The center section features an open living space with an entertainment lounge, a bar, and a formal dining room. A master suite and private office occupy the forward section of the airplane, and two mini-suites in the aft section provide guest accommodations. A spa serenity room in the aft area offers passengers a space for in-flight exercise and relaxation.
In airline service, the 787-9 typically carries around 300 passengers and crew. It costs about $250 million. (greenpnt.com)
