Cadillac SRX

<< Back to Robb Report, 22nd Annual Best of the Best

Priced at $34,155, the Cadillac SRX (www.cadillac.com) demonstrates General Motors’ ability to cut the fat and create a car that drivers actually want to buy and drive. For the 2010 model year, the SRX receives a much-needed makeover that includes sleek body panels and a swanky interior. The fit and finish of the leather and wood-trim accents is on a par with any German or Japanese competitor, and its mechanically operated pop-up navigation display offers a touch-sensitive screen, voice-recognition software, and real-time traffic and weather updates. More importantly, the SRX comes with two engine options: The standard 3-liter direct-injection V-8 provides 265 hp and 223 ft lbs of torque, but those looking for a little boost should opt for the more powerful 2.8-?liter V-6 Turbo, which delivers 300 hp and 295 ft lbs of torque.
