Car of the Year 2017 | No. 3: Aston Martin DB11

The DB11 is the long-overdue successor to Aston Martin’s DB9, which was unveiled in 2003. (The DB10 was a one-off built in 2015 for the James Bond film Spectre.) From the more pronounced version of the brand’s signature front grille to the highly tapered rear end, the DB11 is fitted with new aerodynamic aids that help it slip faster through the air. A new 5.2-liter twin-turbocharged V-12 powers the DB11. It churns out 600 hp and 516 ft lbs of torque, enabling a top speed of 200 mph and zero-to-60-mph time of 3.9 seconds. “It’s an achingly beautiful car with a beast inside,” said Russ Faulk. Michael Ingram added, “Finally, a British car that should scare the Italians.” Click here to read more!
