This summer, Chicagoans will be seeing red as the Oak Street Council and the Ferrari Club of America block off Oak Street and spread out 500 feet of red carpet for the daylong Ferraris on Oak festival. Over 70 vintage Ferraris will be on display, and Ferrari drivers and owners will be on standby to answer questions about the prizewinning cars. Attendees will have the chance to glimpse the Italian beauties up close and rub shoulders with other guests who share their passion for the speedy sports cars.
Participating boutiques, shops, and restaurants will offer tastings and in-store experiences to ensure a VIP experience. Attendees can also purchase raffle tickets from Oak Street Council businesses to win prizes from local establishments, with proceeds benefiting the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The event will take place on July 10 from 11 am to 3 pm. Advance tickets cost $100 per person, and day-of tickets cost $125. (ferrarisonoak.com)
