Cadillac has launched the world’s most wicked station wagon, a vehicle derived from the carmaker’s new CTS-V Coupe and Sport Sedan. The CTS-V Wagon (www.cadillac.com), which has a starting price of about $63,000 and will be produced on a built-to-order basis, satisfies drivers with a need for speed and space. The evil Caddy is powered by the same supercharged 6.2-liter engine that delivers 556 hp in the wagon’s two- and four-door siblings. The car is also equipped with Brembo brakes, Magnetic Ride Control suspension, and Michelin Pilot Sport tires that are anything but standard station wagon fare. Such options as Recaro seats and a 6-speed Tremec manual transmission make it even clearer that the wagon, though it offers 25.4 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind the rear seats, is not intended for trips to the grocery store.
