made. Raymond Dietrich designed the vehicle, giving it a raked back, wide cowl,

long hood, and tall radiator. Dietrich began his career in 1913 as a delineator

(a maker of full-size car renderings) and went on to establish his own design

firm in Detroit. On October 28, a 1934 Packard 12 will make an appearance among

hundreds of other collector vehicles at the first Concours d’Elegance Las Vegas (www­ The event will take place

on the 18th fairway of the TPC at the Canyons golf resort.
