Audi’s flagship 2011 A8 (www.audiusa.com) will employ the latest in mobile and wireless technology, facilitated by the innovative Nvidia Tegra computing chip. This ultra-low-power mobile web processor allows driver and passenger to browse the Internet and use navigation tools such as Google Earth mapping. LED headlamps on the A8 will adjust the height and angle of the beams according to navigation data. Other advances in the car include night-vision assistance and a driver touch pad with handwriting recognition. The expanded A8 also features an updated 4.2-liter, 372 hp V-8 that helps reduce fuel consumption by about 15 percent.
