The Turkish shipyard Sunrise Yachts is making a splash with its largest yacht to date: the 207-foot superyacht Irimari. The yacht is a full-displacement motor yacht with a range beyond 5,750 miles and a cruising speed of 12 knots.
The Monaco-based Espen Øino designed the exterior, creating an array of distinctive outdoor spaces that include an observatory deck, a sundeck with a large hot tub, sunbathing stations, a bar, an aft deck with space for dining and lounging, and an extendable swimming deck (formed when the transom opens).
The German design firm Focus Yacht Design oversaw the interior design, which includes a main saloon with giant windows, bleached-oak walls with copper stripes, white couches, and navy accents. A modern, spiraling gold chandelier serves as the centerpiece for the circular dining table, which seats 10. The full-beam master suite features large windows and an en suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub. The yacht—which accommodates 12 guests and 16 crew members—was delivered to its owners this summer.
There is no official word yet as to whether Irimari will be available for charter. The yacht will make its public debut at the Monaco Yacht Show in late September. (sunriseyachts.com)
