The Embraer Phenom 300 (954.359.3700, www.embraerexecutive demonstrates the Brazilian manufacturer’s ability to produce high-performance aircraft that are comparatively low priced. The Phenom 300 can reach a cruising altitude of 45,000 feet in less than 25 minutes and can fly more than 2,000 miles (Singapore to Taipei or New York to Cancun) without a fuel stop. It is also fast, with cruise speeds topping 500 mph. And yet it costs just $8.7 million. In addition to noteworthy speed and range, the Phenom 300 has a roomy interior styled by BMW’s American design studio, DesignworksUSA. The cabin is just over 5 feet wide at its widest point and offers nearly 5 feet of headroom. Most configurations seat seven passengers, but the aircraft can accommodate as many as 11.
