John Lyon is a senior editor at Robb Report magazine who has contributed to the publication, both online and in print, since 2009. While attending UCLA his passions for the written word and contemporary international events pulled him in two radically different directions. The pleasure of writing eventually won out, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in global studies.

As the senior editor for style, Jill Newman oversees Robb Report’s fine jewelry and style coverage, and occasionally writes about travel and collectibles. Newman also serves as the company’s executive web editor, and is responsible for daily editorial coverage on RobbReport.com. With a bachelor’s degree in journalism, Newman began covering the luxury goods industry in the 1980s as an editor for Women’s Wear Daily and W Magazine.

As the deputy editor, Michalene Busico oversees Robb Report’s coverage of dining and restaurants, art, antiques, and cigars. Before joining the magazine, she was the New York Times’ Dining-section editor, a deputy features editor at the Los Angeles Times, and the executive editor at Entrepreneur magazine.

Larry Bean has been with Robb Report since 1998. As the executive editor, he works primarily with the editors and writers involved with the magazine’s automotive, motorcycle, collectibles, and private-aviation coverage. He is based in Massachusetts, where he teaches communications courses at Boston University. He has been an editor of magazines, newspapers, and books for more than 20 years.

Robert Ross is the automotive editorial consultant for Robb Report magazine. In addition to regularly evaluating new series-production vehicles in the sports and luxury segments, he directs a team of journalists to produce the annual Robb Report Car of the Year event. Ross places a substantial editorial focus on historic automobiles, in response to readers’ keen interest in collector cars and the market that drives them. As a lifelong automobile and motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoys a few machines of his own.
