Turkish Delight: Mandarin Oriental and Mayo Clinic Bring Well-Being to Bodrum

For a Turkish take on tranquility, the Mayo Clinic Healthy Living Programme at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum presents a wealth of principles and practices for holistic well-being. The world-renowned medical institution’s first collaboration with a hotel group, the mindful immersion in preventative medicine begins with an array of personalized assessments that analyze general constitution, body composition, functional movement, stress levels, and posture—all conducted by the clinic’s on-site experts.

Next comes a customized curriculum that combines the Mayo Clinic’s own therapies with the Mandarin’s menu of both restorative spa treatments and salubrious culinary creations. And enticements for exercise include access to the comprehensive fitness center, indoor lap pool, tennis court, basketball court, and water sports such as scuba diving and parasailing. Offered through the hotel’s spa from January 8 through April 30, the program is available as a one- to five-day stay. Prices start from about $1,040 per person, per night. (mandarinoriental.com)
