Actress and producer Eva Longoria has listed her Hollywood Hills West home at 7860 Torreyson Drive for $14 million, giving future owners a chance to make the sunny Southern California oasis their own. Longoria, who purchased the property from fellow movie star Tom Cruise in 2015, is looking to sell it after buying a new mansion in Beverly Crest for $13.5 million.
Hidden among a grove of trees just off Mulholland Drive, the estate is ideal for anyone who wants a serene and secluded sanctuary. Setting foot on the property is akin to stepping onto an old-world European estate: A wooden bridge serves as a moat-like entrance to the gated grounds, and fountains and water features set the stage for the soothing retreat.
The 2.5-acre property includes a three-bedroom, three-bath European villa and a four-bedroom, four-bath country house. Hardwood floors and glass doors converge with muted colors and hanging light fixtures to create sun-drenched living spaces in each of the residences. There are also two small studios and a stone cottage that can double as a wine cellar and tasting room. Stone walking pathways connect the buildings, while lush gardens help residents and visitors alike feel in sync with nature.
The property offers 180-degree views of Los Angeles and the hazy purple mountains beyond. Large terraces and patios were seemingly made for sunbathing or sundowners, while a covered dining pavilion guarantees dinner with a view.
Architect Mark Rios of Rios Clementi Hale Studios has created plans for a renovation as well as additional spaces, permits pending. Loren Judd of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Beverly Hills North holds the listing.
The residence joins a slew of other celebrity-owned homes in Los Angeles that hit the market this year, from Ryan Tedder’s mid-century modern abode in Beverly Hills to Jim Belushi’s Italian-style villa in Brentwood Park.
