FrontRunners: Pour Shape

<< Back to Robb Report, Luxury Preview

The designs for the Prouna Geometrica tableware collection (www.prounausa.com) are based on simple shapes. The Italian designer and architect Alessandro Mendini collaborated with Prouna, a Santa Clara, Calif.–based company, on the line. He describes the collection’s circular handle designs as “a playful succession of small geometrical forms.” Made from English fine bone china and priced from $88 to $398, the collection includes a teapot, a sugar-and-creamer set, and teacups and saucers available in all white, all gold, or white with 24-karat-gold or platinum accents.
