The impressive exterior of 27 East 79th Street features a limestone facade.
Situated on a landmarked stretch of 79th Street between Madison and Fifth Avenues, the project is one of the area’s first new developments in decades.
The lobby’s iron-domed marquee is a special detail conceived by the Pinto design team.
Custom elements and Beaux Arts details abound in the duplex. Linda Pinto describes the project as having “Parisian style while paying homage to the Upper East Side’s beautiful surrounding architecture.”
The property features eight residences. There are three two-bedroom, full-floor homes and three duplex five-bedroom condominiums spanning 1,474 to 3,006 square feet. Additionally, the building has a three-bedroom, 2,950 square foot townhouse unit, and a 4,346 square foot Penthouse with five bedrooms and views of nearby Central Park.
Pinto dressed the master bathrooms and powder rooms in a mix of marble slab and tiling, along with polished nickel Kallista fixtures, custom cabinetry and vanities featuring of parchment and lacquer and Movingui wood.
The town house garden was modeled in classic French style. The fortunate resident of the triplex Penthouse can expect a private rooftop terrace and master suite overlooking Central Park.
