Home on the Range

A new condominium-hotel residence venture in Park City, Utah, will be the first ski-in, ski-out resort added to the Waldorf-Astoria Collection, a group of unique hotels run by the Hilton Family of Hotels situated in key cities around the world. The Dakota Mountain Lodge will open this summer at the base of the Canyons Resort Village in the Wasatch Mountains. The property includes 104 residences, from studios to four-bedroom suites, each with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Dakota Mountain Lodge will also house the first outpost of San Francisco’s Spruce restaurant and a Golden Door Spa, one of only six in the company’s portfolio. Park City is home to the Sundance Film Festival, and the area’s surrounding mountains are training grounds for Olympic-hopeful skiers and snowboarders. Prices for the Dakota Mountain Lodge residences range from approximately $400,000 to $2 million. (www.dakotamountainlodge.com)
