Bringing restaurant kitchen features into the home and promoting the concept of a “professional” cooking environment has long been the goal of Arclinea, the Italian firm working in collaboration with celebrated designer Antonio Citterio. Its latest ergonomic and highly efficient kitchen concept is the Arclinea Vina, a new technologically advanced wine storage system with a thoroughly modern, and functional, aesthetic.
Designed for easy integration into restaurants and cooking schools as well asin the home, the built-in Arclinea Vina wine storage system features a refrigeration unit capable of maintaining the interior temperature at 53.6 to 57.2 degrees and relative humidity at 70 percent. It also contains adjustable stainless steel shelves, an internal LED lighting system with a volumetric sensor to switch on the light when opening, and clear Stopsol double-glazed coplanar doors that slide over one another for easy opening and an airtight seal. The Vina system comes in two widths—approximately 71 and 95 inches—and can accommodate 112 or 154 bottles, respectively. The system is now available through Arclinea’s six U.S. showrooms.
