Many terms come to mind in considering the qualities that constitute elegance: tastefulness, beauty, style, refinement, grace, poise. But no matter how one chooses to define elegance, there is no doubt that once in a while, an automobile appears that so fully embodies the concept as to ensure its timelessness. Robb Report approached 20 automotive-design authorities—including design directors from some of the world’s top marques, concours judges, and design academics—to offer their picks for the most elegant automobiles of all time.
