Six Hot New Hotels in Miami

The heat is on in Miami, with new hotels, hundred-million-dollar renovations, and entire newly built districts fueling a blaze of recent construction. This time it is central Collins Avenue that is aflame. The area was hot last century from the 1920s through the ’60s, until favor fell on the bigger, newer hotels south of 21st Street. The new mix of revamped art deco facades and avant-garde towers is steering travelers back north to what may soon be considered the new heart of South Beach.
