FrontRunners: Above Par

<< Back to Robb Report, December 2013

In August, Ireland’s K Club Hotel opened Straffan House (www.straffanhouse.ie; see “Easy Ryder”), an elegant 10-suite home with a private cinema and an indoor swimming pool. Guests staying in the house (from $16,000 per night) enjoy unlimited access to the K Club’s Smurfit and Palmer Ryder Cup golf courses.

Former Ryder Cup captain Davis Love III will join guests of Sea Island’s new Ultimate Guys’ Golf Experience (www.seaisland.com) for a round on one of the Georgia resort’s three 18-hole courses. Unveiled in September, the $100,000 package for three also includes four nights’ accommodations, unlimited golf throughout the stay, club fittings, and more.
