FrontRunners: Thrill Ride

<< Back to Robb Report, April 2014

The Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 310LX (www.kawaksaki.com) has a revamped 1,498 cc inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 310 hp and enables the craft to reach an unofficial top speed of 80 mph. The Ultra 310LX, which can carry three riders on its heat-resistant seats, is priced at $18,000. Apple and Android products can be plugged into the MP3-style sound system and stored in a water-resistant case. Controls for the music system are mounted on the handlebars, and two 30-watt speakers are located beneath the rearview mirrors.
