Classic Menswear Fits With a Contemporary Aesthetic

New Luigi Bianchi Mantova collection combines light and warm fabrics with natural yarns...

Warmth. Lightness. Nature. For its Fall Winter ‘016 collection Luigi Bianchi Mantova combines light and warm fabrics with the use of natural yarns.

The soft and fine virgin wool that the brand is renown for since 1911, becomes lighter, whether is utilized alone or in combination with lush blends of cashmere and silk. In addition to the yarns, the colors assume more natural nuances as well, including the ever green “camel”, that is available in endless palettes, from delicate neutrals to decisive browns.

While continuing the evolution of its tailor made aesthetic, Luigi Bianchi Mantova proposes for the first time technical outerwear, including goose down jackets, with or without sleeves, hooded parkas and quilted coats.

Whether it’s inspired by Italian cult pieces like the Chesterfield coat, or by modern creations, including the original extra-light coat that weighs like a blazer, all outerwear is treated with sophisticated water-repellant treatments that make it durable and weather-resistant.
