A reverence for all things automotive drove the design of the new Ralph Lauren Black Label Duffle (www.ralphlauren.com). Composed of durable but lightweight Italian nylon, with leather trim, the sleek $995 carry-on features racing-inspired stripes and black enamel hardware….The handsome new Berluti Venezia Travel line (212.439.6400) is fundamentally—and intentionally—flawed. The raw material for each of the three pieces is tanned with vegetable dye and polished over several weeks, a process that ultimately reveals the leather’s natural imperfections. The Paris-based company is making the trolley ($8,300) in limited quantities because of the piece’s labor-intensive production process. A midsize bag ($3,600) and a small bag ($1,350) round out the collection, which comes in dark brown or smoky black.…The Valextra garment bag (available at Barneys New York, 212.826.?8900) measures less than 2 inches deep but still manages to hold two suits, including shirts and accessories. The $2,620 bag is lined with stain-resistant material and comes with a separate compartment for shoes. The Valextra Green leather hangers ($310 apiece) are offered separately.
