Dressed in a blue plaid suit and his trademark leather sandals, Gianluca Isaia attended the September debut of his esteemed fashion house’s Madison Avenue store in New York. “Naples is our heritage,” said the 52-year-old CEO, whose grandfather Enrico, a Neapolitan tailor, opened a high-end shop in his hometown in the 1920s. “We want to help people discover the heritage and culture of Naples through our brand,” Isaia said.

Such discovery is the fabric of this sartorially inspired gift. One Robb Report reader, who can be accompanied by a guest, will receive not only a personalized Isaia wardrobe rich in sprezzatura, or casual elegance, but also a firsthand experience of the region—Mediterranean climate, seaside colors, relaxed atmosphere—that has helped shape the Isaia brand and, more broadly, Italian men’s suiting.

The trip begins with two days in Naples, where the recipient will meet with Isaia’s master tailor to select fabrics, silhouettes, and details; the fitting for his custom wardrobe will follow. During a rare behind-the-scenes tour of the brand’s workshop, the recipient and guest will see the artisans—many of whom are second- and third-generation tailors—hand sewing suits in the same way that Enrico Isaia did nearly a century ago. The pair may also witness the use of Aquacashmere, a proprietary material developed by the company to repel water and stains but still stretch and move naturally with the body.

After two days in the city, Isaia will host the recipient and guest on Capri, where they will dine and dance at his favorite spots and enjoy a day on his boat sightseeing and swimming. There will also be time to visit the island’s Isaia store. Locals and visitors alike are known to congregate at the shop on most nights in high season to enjoy cocktails, music, and wardrobe consultations. “I want our stores to feel like home, where our clients will want to come and have a drink and play pool,” Isaia said in September. “Once they experience the warm, inviting Neapolitan spirit, our clients will understand the Isaia brand.”
