Santiago Gonzalez, president of the leather-goods company founded by his mother, Nancy Gonzalez, used to create crocodile accessories simply to satisfy his own travel needs: a duffel bag with open side pockets for easy access, a watch roll to hold his timepieces, a slim portfolio. But when Santiago and his carry-on ran into a Harrods buyer at the airport earlier this year, she admired the bag and suggested he establish a men’s line. The ensuing collection is debuting this fall at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills and at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman.
