Fratelli Rossetti aims to revolutionize the classic loafer, giving its traditional appearance a twist with new, three-layer soles. Crafted by Rossetti artisans, its timeless style will upgrade any wardrobe with modern refinement and unparalleled quality.
Three loafer designs are presented: fringed, penny, and the iconic Brera with signature tassel. Rooted in tradition, all three loafers have thick lug soles.
The three layers of the sole are clearly visible: a leather welt, a colored micro midsole and a treaded base. The midsole that forms the second layer, always matches the color of the upper, which is hand painted using the Toledo technique. The Toledo technique begins with neutral-colored calfskin buffed by hand with vegetable dyes to create an end result of unique colorful richness. This season the colors of autumn woods and Nordic landscapes feature prominently. Shades from the dark green of forests, the blue/violet of Scandinavian skies, the rocky tones of fjords and spice shades such as cinnamon emphasize the craftsmanship and quality of these hand made products. Available for Fall 2016.
